Questions, answered plainly
Roof rejuvenation questions worth asking first.
GoNano Structural Roof Rejuvenation can be a practical preservation option, but only for a qualified roof. Here is the short version of what Michigan Nano Roofing can and cannot do.
Start with condition, not just age.
The right answer depends on the existing roof, the product or system, and current specifications.
What is GoNano Structural Roof Rejuvenation?
It is a professional treatment for qualified, aging asphalt-shingle roofs. GoNano Structural Roof Rejuvenation uses a nano-penetrating approach designed to work within the shingle structure, with the goal of helping restore useful properties such as flexibility and durability and extend the useful life of an eligible existing roof.
What roof age can qualify, and does age decide eligibility?
GoNano treatment may be considered for qualifying asphalt-shingle roofs generally up to 15 to 20 years old, but age alone does not decide eligibility. Current condition, the asphalt-shingle system, and current product specifications matter, so an assessment is required.
Can GoNano repair an active leak or failed roof?
No. Active leaks, a failed roof, major structural problems, or shingles that have lost structural integrity need proper repair or replacement. Michigan Nano Roofing currently assesses and treats qualified existing asphalt shingles; we do not perform conventional roof repairs or replacement.
How does Michigan weather affect an aging roof?
Sun, wind, hail, rain, snow, ice, and repeated freeze-thaw cycles can contribute to asphalt-shingle aging. A property-specific review helps separate normal weathering from damage or conditions that need conventional roofing work.
How is the treatment applied?
After assessment and any needed preparation, a trained professional applies the treatment with a low-pressure spray. It is not pressure washing. Preparation may include cleaning when heavy algae or moss is present.
How long can application take?
Application is often approximately 90 minutes on average, depending on the roof, access, condition, and preparation. We will give a more useful project estimate after looking at the property.
How much life can it add?
GoNano Roof Rejuvenation may provide 10–15 years of additional lifespan for an eligible roof, depending on roof age and condition. That is a qualified estimate, not a guarantee for every roof.
How much can homeowners save?
Depending on the project, GoNano treatment may offer potential savings of up to approximately 80–85% compared with replacement. Actual pricing depends on the roof and the project, so this is not a guarantee.
Is this a conventional roof coating?
No. GoNano Structural Roof Rejuvenation is a nano-penetrating treatment intended to enter asphalt pores and modify the shingle structure, rather than simply leaving a conventional surface coating. Roof condition still determines whether treatment is appropriate.
Does every roof qualify?
No. Qualification depends on roof condition, the product or system, and current specifications. We assess first and explain when rejuvenation is not the right path.
What about warranty?
Terms vary by product or system, roof condition, and the authorized offering available for the property. Ask Michigan Nano Roofing to confirm the current written terms that apply; there is no single universal term we should promise here.
Do you replace or repair roofs?
No. Michigan Nano Roofing currently only assesses and treats qualified existing asphalt shingles. We do not perform conventional roof repairs or replacement.
Do you offer financing or pay-after-closing for a home sale?
Yes. Michigan Nano Roofing offers financing and an option to ask about paying at closing when a home is being sold. Availability, eligibility, and terms can change, so ask us about the current options for your project.
